Civica started as an early build connecting organizations, professionals, and job seekers. As traction grew, the early architecture had to scale reliably and the engineering effort needed clear technical direction.
Approach
Took ownership of platform architecture, the product roadmap, and engineering processes.
Refactored and modularized the system to improve reliability, performance, and long-term scalability.
Implemented security controls, traffic management, and performance optimizations to support continuous growth.
Made the core technical decisions across platform structure, data modeling, and service integrations.

Under my technical lead, Civica grew to 50k+ active users and raised roughly 300,000 MAD from investors — on an architecture that held up as the platform scaled.
